The First Company M451 Blower Motor is an airflow drive component used to rotate the blower wheel to push conditioned air through the HVAC systems. It operates on a 3/4-horsepower electric motor that produces rotational movement, which can be used to regulate airflow in air handlers and fan coil HVAC systems, and has three preset speed settings. It is located in the blower housing, whereby the shaft is linked to the fan wheel and wiring terminals, are linked to the system control circuit. This variable speed assists in the regulation of the airflow rates.
