Trane ELM3572 Filter Drier

The Trane ELM3572 is a Filter Dryer that is specifically for the Trane and other related HVAC systems. Measuring 4.5” in diameter and 6.9” in length. Its Inside is 48 cubic inch desiccant core, the intake is 1-9/18 inch. This filter drier protects the system by removing moisture, acid, and debris from the refrigerant lines. Moisture in the refrigerant can freeze and block the flow reducing the efficiency of components and refrigerant flow. One can find that system metal components are vulnerable to rusting when they come into contact with acid. Elevation of debris may hinder flow and blockage of valves.
