Johnson Controls F-1000-232 is a filter cartridge used as a replacement for particular air compressor and dryer equipment. It is a cartridge filter therefore it is a disposable item that keeps unwanted objects such as dust, soil, sand and grit from the air that comes into the system. These contaminants are trapped by the F-1000-232 and protect the internal parts of the equipment, such as bearings and valves, from wear. This is useful in that it helps to stretch the longevity of the particular equipment and or reduces the frequency of need for maintenance.
