Johnson Controls F92B-1 1-1/4" Shallow Well Air Volume Control

The Johnson Controls F92B-1 Air Volume Control is a small device that plays a significant role in regulating air pressure in shallow well water systems that are below 25 feet deep. An internal float of polyethylene moves up and down with the change in the level of water in the tank. When the water level decreases, which indicates a decrease in air pressure, the switch opens to admit room air into the pump’s air charge section. This controls air volume independently to maintain the best performance of the system and avoid issues like pump cycling, waterlogging of tanks, and air bubbles getting into the water supply system.
