The Carrier EA36DC333 Expansion Valve is a part of HVAC equipment, more precisely, cooling HVAC equipment. It is a thermostatic expansion valve which is a valve that uses a bi-metal strip that changes with temperature. This valve changes its size in proportion to the evaporator temperature, as its name indicates. This characteristic makes it possible control refrigerant flow into the evaporator coil.
