Carrier EA36YC126 Expansion Valve

The Carrier EA36YC126 is a Thermostatic Expansion valve (TXV) for the Carrier HVAC equipment that requires R-22 refrigerant. It has a bi-metallic sensing element that changes its length with temperature variation. These expansion and contraction regulate the opening of a valve inside the TXV, and therefore the amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator coil. It helps to maintain a accurate flow of refrigerant so that the evaporator coil does not get flooded with liquid refrigerant thus making the unit cool effectively.
