The Belimo EFB24-SR-S is a spring return actuator designed for use in HVAC  systems. It is a single-phase, 24-volt electric motor that rotates a damper up to 95 degrees to regulate airflow.With the "spring return" feature, in the event of a power outage, the actuator automatically returns the damper to a predetermined position usually closed using a spring mechanism. In urgent circumstances, this guarantees system integrity and safety. The "270" stands for 270 pounds per square inch -psi, which is the highest pressure the actuator is capable of handling.The range of the control signal is indicated by "2-10Vdc". The position of the damper is determined by a 2-10 volt DC signal that is received by the actuator from a controller or building automation system.
