The Trane VAL9930 is an Electronic Expansion Valve which is an essentialcomponent of HVAC systems. It is of a 6” length and has a male brazed connection type and is suitable to work with R-410A or R-22 refrigerants. When the inlet and outlet are 0.250” OD, it has a working pressure of up to 650 PSI. The valve operation is electrical and it uses a sensing bulb for the control of flow.
