Auburn E5-407 Medium & High Tensile Electrode

The Auburn E5-407 Medium & High Tensile Electrode is a medium & high tensile steel welding electrode that is useful for structural applications. It has a diameter of 5/32” and a welding current of 110-150A DC to produce a tensile strength of 60000 PSI for high-quality and lasting welds. This electrode is suitable for HVAC systems construction mainly in frame and support structures where high strength is desirable. Advantages include better arc steadiness, low spatter, and the ability to operate on both AC and DC currents, suitable for any position. Its quick-freezing slag increases efficiency in that it can be cleaned up faster than with the ordinary type of slag, and leading to better welds.
