Lennox 63K10 Defrost Switch

The Lennox 63K10 Defrost Switch is an essential part of the Lennox HVAC systems that are used in the regions with cold climate. Virtually its sole purpose is to trigger the defrost process which is meant to stop ice formation on the outer coil and to maintain the proper function of the system. The switch controls the temperature of the switch and when the temperature gets to a certain level the defrost cycle begins. This cycle as halts the compressor and turns on the defroster to drain or melt the ice formed on the coils.
