Trane CTR2732 3-P Contactor Coil 120 V 30 A

The Trane CTR2732 is a 120V, 30 amp contactor coil that is a must-have in many Trane HVAC systems. Like a heavy-duty switch, it works using an electromagnetic coil. The coil is powered by 120 volts and generates a magnetic field to flip the internal contacts, allowing a high current average of 40 amps to pass through the contactor. Its high current capacity makes it able to handle loads of up to 15 kW of strong HVAC equipment. The coil is activated by a low voltage control system, which powers the contactor and any attached appliances, such as heaters or compressors, in normal functioning.
