The Copeland ZS38K4E-TFD-950 Scroll Compressor is used to circulate and compress refrigerant in cooling the air-conditioning equipment. This mechanism, which operates on a 38000 BTU capacity and a 460 V/3PH electrical supply pulls low-pressure refrigerant vapour into the compressor and forces it to a higher pressure and temperature. Applied in condensing units and refrigeration systems of HVAC systems, the pressurised refrigerant, is then directed to the condenser, which removes heat, and the refrigeration cycle repeats to ensure that the temperature stays within controlled limits.
