The Carrier 40RM500075 condensate pan is an essential part of HVAC system. The evaporator coil becomes wet with moisture when cool air is produced. This condensate collection tray collects this water to keep it from leaking, growing mold, and potentially damaging your property. The condensate pan sits typically below the evaporator coil in the air handling unit of your HVAC system. This particular Carrier pan is 89" long, 4.25" wide, and 1.75" high, and made of black plastic. It will hold approximately 0.38 cubic feet of condensate and is designed to work with standard 3/4" drain lines.
