Trane COM8766 Compressor 3.5Ton 200-230V 1-Phase

The Trane COM8766 was a powerful compressor that was intended for substantial cooling in HVAC applications. This is a Trane compressor and it is not a piston type of compressor but a scroll type of compressor. In the enclosed casing, two intertwined scrolls work as a high-pressure pump, compressing refrigerant gas. This design is equivalent to a capacity of 3.5 tons or about 42,000 BTUH, useful for handling high cooling loads in areas measuring up to 2000 sq. ft. Rotolock connections provide leakproof circulation of refrigerant with the capability to handle R-22 refrigerant.
