The Trane COM10213 Compressor is a high capacity compressor for large cooling applications in commercial and industrial applications using R-410A refrigerant. This Trane compressor is not a piston type of compressor but a scroll one for improved performance. In the sealed housing, two meshing scrolls are used to compress the refrigerant gas and develop high pressure. This efficient design equates to a 5-ton capacity (61, 000 BTUH), which handles large cooling loads. Refrigerant circulation is made secure by brazed stub tubes with a discharge size of ½”.
