Neptronic BT080IC1 3 Position Actuator

The Neptronic BT080IC1 is a motorised actuator that regulates the position of dampers, valves, and other mechanical devices in HVAC systems and other industrial settings. An electrical signal specifying the intended position (open, closed, or intermediate) is received by the actuator. The internal motor turns a shaft after activating in response to the signal received. A gear mechanism drives a lever arm by converting the rotation of the shaft into linear movement. By connecting to the controlled device (damper, valve, etc.), the lever arm modifies its position. Within the given range, precise positioning is made possible by the adjustable stroke length. With the three-position design, dampers and valves with open, closed, or intermediate settings can be controlled.
