Aaon ASM01640 Static Pressure Transducer

The Aaon ASM01640 Static Pressure Transducer is a detector developed solely for assessing air pressure in HVAC systems. It operates by transforming static pressure, or the force exerted by air that stagnates, into an electrical signal. This signal, usually ranges from 0 to 5 volts DC, indicates a pressure range of 0 to 5 inches of water column. The ASM01640 is frequently found in Aaon equipment, such as the VCCX2 Controller and the EM1 series. It benefits substantially to system performance through providing real-time data on air pressure within the ductwork. This data will then be utilised for controlling an assortment of components, notably the supply fan's variable frequency drive, bypass, and zone damper actuators.
