Rheem-Ruud AS23557-6 Thermostat Bracket

The Rheem-Ruud AS23557-6 Thermostat Bracket is a mounting component that positions and retains a thermostat within compatible water heater assemblies. Its structure provides a fixed support point so the unit remains correctly aligned with the control area while sensing temperature at the intended position. This part is fitted inside the cabinet at the thermostat mounting position, with the fasteners securing it to the supporting panel. It creates the mechanical relationship between the element and connected controls, allowing temperature regulation to respond according to the selected setting.
