The York S1-025-30281-001 Ambient-Temperature Sensor is an essential component in many HVAC systems, which has the main function of measuring and transmitting the real ambient temperature in a given area. This sensor uses a sensitive thermistor element which is a component of a resistor that changes resistance in an opposite way as the temperature. Depending on the temperature increase or decrease around the thermistor, the resistance alters too.
