The Resideo AM100-UT-1LF Thermostatic Mixing Valve is designed to deliver safe water temperature to home hot water systems. It uses hot and cold water to maintain a set temperature between 70°F and 145°F, to avoid burning and to be warm. This valve is commonly used in residential, commercial buildings, hotels and hospitals, among other places. It is small and constructed from durable brass. Check valves are installed on the hot and cold inlets to prevent backflow of water. It has a handwheel for easy control of the temperature. Teflon coating is done to the valve to avoid mineral formation which enhances the valve's life.
