The Cleveland Controls AFS-398 Air Pressure Sensing Switch is a pressure-activated switch designed for use in HVAC systems to indicate and regulate airflow. It is an Air Pressure Sensing Switch, has a switch type of SPDT, and a pressure range of 0.03 to 2.0 inches of water column. This switch works based on the changes in pressure in the HVAC system which is detected by this switch. The switch is activated when the pressure is below the set value setpoint and sends a control signal. This signal can be used to trigger a fan, open a damper ring an alarm to correct the airflow.
