Armstrong International 811-3/4-250 3/4" Inverted Bucket Trap 250 PSI

The Armstrong International 811-3/4-250 3/4” inverted bucket steam trap works at a pressure of up to 250 PSI. This mechanical trap relies on the differential expansion of steam and water to address problems of condensate in HVAC systems. When steam gets into the chamber, the bucket is inverted and the steam fills it causing the bucket to rise and shut the valve to avoid loss of steam. Once the steam has cooled and turned into the water the bucket descends opening the valve for the removal of condensate. This trap is perfect for use in heating coils, heat exchangers, and other places where condensate has to be well dealt with.
