Lennox 66J54 Transformer 460V Primary 24V Secoundary 70VA

The Lennox 66J54 is an electrical transformer, an appliance that steps down electricity voltage from the high voltage to the low voltage. In HVAC systems it is used to reduce high voltage such as 460 volts from the main line to low voltage for control circuits normally 24 volts. This low voltage supplies thermostats, relays and other control elements. The transformer is of ½ Inch and foot mount design, and can easily be fitted into an HVAC unit. It also has a 3.5 amp in-built circuit breaker to protect the transformer from an electrical overload. The transformer is also helpful to the safety of an HVAC system because it steps down the voltage.
