The Caleffi 626600A Flow Switch is a general-purpose flow switch that is used to detect the flow of fluids within HVAC systems. It comes with a 1” MNPT connection and works based on whether or not there is a flow of the fluid through the piping. As flow is sensed, it makes an electrical contact which can operate pumps, burners and other related parts making the system more secure and effective. This flow switch is useful for instance in halting equipment when flow is not detected, in order to safeguard delicate parts from overheating. It can handle water and glycol solutions and works at a maximum pressure of 150 psi and at the temperature range of -20°F to 250°F.
