Rheem-Ruud 61-26018-72 5-Tons Expansion Valve (TXV) R22 3/8" x 1/2"

The Rheem-Ruud 61-26018-72 Thermal Expansion Valve regulates the flow of the refrigerant to enhance the cooling capacity of HVAC systems. It accurately controls the amount of R-22 refrigerant by adjusting the amount of refrigerant flow to the evaporator as needed. When refrigerant flows in, the valve controls the flow with the used of the 30” capillary tube depending on the temperature and pressure. It has 5-ton capacity and Chatleff inlet with a sweat outlet for compatibility with most air conditioning units and heat pumps. The 18” equalizer tube used in maintaining the pressure balance and increases efficiency.
