The Rheem-Ruud 61-102211-27 is Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) with a capacity of 6-ton that is suitable for the large, residential, or light commercial air conditioning systems that use R-410A refrigerant. This hot, high pressure refrigerant then gets to the condenser coils where heat is released to the surrounding air. The liquid refrigerant which has now cooled and at high pressure gain entry into the TXV. The TXV is a pressure-sensor device. It consists of a small diaphragm that oscillates with pressure in the refrigerant that enters the valve
