The Heatcraft Refrigeration 5030SS Evaporator Fan Motor is an electric motor with a rating of 1/15 HP, 115 V, single-phase, 60 Hz, clockwise rotation of the shaft end and a nominal speed of 3000 RPM which is used to cause airflow across the evaporator coil. It is applied in refrigeration and HVAC systems in order to draw air into the evaporator to facilitate heat exchange by circulating cool air across the coil surfaces, which facilitates the appropriate operation of the refrigeration cycle.
