The Johnson Controls TE-6000-100 Temperature Sensor is a Resistance Temperature Detector with extreme accuracy for measuring temperature in HVAC systems. It can operate at a temperature of -50°F to 250°F and therefore it can be used in any application. The sensor element is made up of nickel so that, it will perform well and last long. They can detect temperature changes due to the changes in resistance of the nickel element.
