Caleffi 502343A Automatic Air Vent 1/2" NPT W/Service Check Cap

The Caleffi 502343A Automatic Air Vent is a large float-type valve that supports removing trapped air from hydronic heating and cooling systems like boilers, manifolds, and hydro separators. It has a 1/2” MNPT male thread connection and works at a maximum pressure of 150 psi and a temperature of 250°F. The integrated hygroscopic safety cap automatically closes the vent it comes in contact with water, preventing leaks. Its high discharge rate provides for quick air removal, increasing the system's efficiency by reducing noise, preventing corrosion, and protecting components from cavitation. The in-built check valve provides a simple replacement without purging of the system, making the maintenance simple.
