Rheem-Ruud 47-102240-03 Auto Reset Limit switch 95PSI Close 50PSI-Open

The Rheem-Ruud 47-102240-03 is an auto-reset limit switch which helps to protect the HVAC systems from the risks of overheating or from excess pressure. This is a small and portable part which comes with a 1/4” connection for quick fixing. The switch works at 95 PSI and turn off the circuit to prevent further flow to the system. After the pressure has dropped to 50 PSIG the switch then reset to normal position and normal flow can continue. Especially essential for the system’s integrity, the limit switch cuts off the power supply and stops the HVAC equipment if it faces dangerous conditions. The auto reset for its operation means that at no time will another person have to get involved to ensure system protection is continuous.
