The Taco 431-6 Air Scoop operates as high-efficiency equipment to separate air in hydronic heating and cooling systems. This unit offers a 1" FNPT connection to effectively remove trapped air from the system, and preventing noise and corrosion and maintaining system performance. The Air Scoop operates inside closed-loop HVAC systems along with boilers and circulators and expansion tanks to improve circulation efficiency by enabling natural air venting from the water flow. The internal structure of this part controls water speed to create an air-release area with low pressure.
