Danfoss 068U2237 Thermostatic Expansion Element/Valver 3/8" X1 /2" TUAE R-22

The Danfoss 068U2237 is a Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TEV) which controls the refrigerant flow in (HVAC) systems. The body of the regulator is made of brass while the connection are made of steel making it easy to withstand pressure, and it has a rating of 500 PSI. The size of this valve is 3/8” inlet and 1/2” exit, and thus is suitable for many refrigerant circuits. Its performance is well in the range of -40°F to 50°F and it is recommended to be used with R-22 refrigerant, which enables it to be small sized and easy to install. Its main function is to regulate the amount of coolant depending on temperature differences and, thus, the cooling effectiveness of such systems in the air.
