Lennox 42W37 3Ton Thermal Expansion Valve 3/8" X 1/2" ODF

The Lennox 42W37 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a control component used in Lennox HVAC systems, mainly in air conditioners with 3-ton cooling capability. Constructed out of brass this valve is crucial in enhancing the system efficiency and cooling capacity. The TXV measures the temperature inside the evaporator coil. This information is then used to control the amount of refrigerant that is being allowed into the coil. This permits the coil to get the correct quantity of refrigerant that it needs to take heat to provide the better cooling. It is designed for use in Lennox air conditioners that have a cooling ton of 3 yet it is more appropriate for large homes.
