Rheem-Ruud 61-106238-37 5-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve(TxV) R22 3/8"SWT

The Rheem-Ruud 61-106238-37 Thermal Expansion Valve is used for controlling the flow of refrigerant in HVAC systems to ensure that the system operates. This valve has a 5 ton of capacity that is right for air conditioning systems with R-22 refrigerant. The valve has 30" capillary length and 7-1/4” equalizer length which provides the better control in directing the flow of the refrigerant. They come in a 3/8” x 3/8” size hence fitting into most of the HVAC parts. The connection of the external equalizer is a 1/8”sweat O.D. This ensure a secure connection of the external equalizer. This type of expansion valve allows appropriate control of the refrigerant flow so as to control the temperature and pressure within the system.
