The Fenwal 35-655605-011 Hot Surface Ignition Control Module is an essential part of the ignition of gas in HVAC systems. This module use a hot surface igniter that gets hot enough to ignite the gas and therefore does not require a spark. It has three ignition trials, a post-purge internal time of 15 seconds, TFI time of 5 seconds, all of which are with a 24V supply. Standard in residential heating systems, pool heaters, and boilers, this control module is used to increase safety by causing the flow of gas to stop when ignition is not possible within three trials.
