The Fenwal 35-615221-001 Direct Spark Ignition Control Module is a part that is used in igniting burners in different commercial and industrial HVAC systems such as boilers, furnaces, and heaters. This ignition module uses the direct spark technology that fires a high energy spark directly to the burner’s electrodes ensuring ignition of the fuel especially in areas of high humidity or where the fuel is hard to ignite. This is because it has a pre purge time of 30 seconds to enable the removal of combustible gases before ignition and a trial ignition time of 4 seconds to facilitate ignition.
