The Honeywell V5011N1057 is a three-quarter inch, pneumatically operated globe valve that allows for precise control of water flow in heating and cooling systems. It employs a proportional differential temperature control (PDTC) mechanism, which means that the valve position is adjusted depending on both the difference between the desired and actual temperatures (differential temperature) and the rate at which that difference changes (proportional). This enables for extremely steady and precise temperature regulation. The valve is composed of robust bronze for extended life and can withstand pressures of up to 217 psi. It has 1an equal percentage flow characteristic, which means that the percentage change in flow through the valve is proportionate to the percentage change in the signal used to open the valve.
