The Honeywell V5013N1055 is a 3/4 inch, three-way globe valve body designed for mixing applications in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. It controls the flow of hot and cold water, or water with up to 50% glycol mixture, by regulating the proportion of each entering a common outlet. This allows for precise temperature control in hydronic heating systems, fan coil units, and other HVAC equipment that utilize heated or chilled water. The valve features a red brass construction for durability and NPT threaded connections for easy installation. Its internal design ensures a constant total flow rate throughout the stem travel, regardless of the mix ratio. Additionally, the low seat leakage rate minimizes wasted water. While not a pressure regulator itself, the V5013N1055 can be compatible with system pressures up to 150 psi.
