The Johnson Controls V148GK1-001C is a 3-way pressure actuated water regulating valve designed for use in the hydronic water heating and cooling systems. It is used to maintain constant system performance and prevent equipment from corrosion due to excessive water pressure of pressure ranging between 200-400 psi. The valve operates based on the principle of pressure detection where a sensor is used to detect water pressure all the time. Despite this, as the pressure drops below this values the valve opens to let more water into the system. On the other hand if pressure rises more than this amount, the valve is closed to lower the water supply that makes it impossible to apply high pressure.
