Carrier 33ZCBC01 Bypass Controller

The Carrier 33ZCBC01 Bypass Controller is a part of the Carrier’s 3V system and is most commonly used with air handlers and furnaces. It controls the airflow by allowing the excess air to pass through a bypass damper. This makes it possible to have a standard temperature in different areas of a structure. Without a bypass controller, a constant volume system will make the whole building have the same temperature which is uncomfortable and uneconomical. It is easily identifiable within the HVAC system due to the black and gray coloration.
