Johnson Controls A19ABC-40 is a single-stage remote bulb temperature control that is used to achieve the steady temperature of a single stage in heating and cooling applications. It consists of a liquid-filled sensor, which is connected by a 6 feet capillary tube to the control unit. This remote design enables the temperature sensor to be located in the best position for regulation, independently of the control device. The A19ABC-40 is especially helpful when the ambient air temperature may not reflect the desired control temperature. It has an adjustable differential of 6°F which means that the unit can be set to avoid unnecessary on/off cycles and thus conserve energy.
