The Johnson Controls A19EAF-2 is a SPDT Flange mounted Duct temperature thermostat which is a single stage remote bulb thermostat for controlling temperature in air handling units, rooftop units, make-up heaters and duct heaters. It employs a remote temperature sensor bulb that is installed right in the airflow to measure the air temperature. When the air temperature is close to the limits set by a user, thermostat switches On or Off the HVAC equipment to heat or cool air to the set temperature. This is a single stage process and what it means is that the heat or cool air will be blowing full force in the room until the set temperature is attained.
