The Johnson Controls A19ABC-36 SPDT Remote Bulb Temperature Control is used to regulate temperatures in different HVAC systems. It uses a bulb mounted at a remote position which contains a liquid that changes its volume with temperature. This change is transmitted through a long, thin capillary tube to a switch mechanism in the main unit. When the set temperature is met, the switch turns on or off your HVAC systems such as furnaces, air conditioning units or ventilation fans. The A19ABC-36 has a temperature range adjustment from -30°F to 100°F with an adjustable differential from 3°F to 12°F. The capillary of 20 feet allows the sensor bulb to be placed at other prime locations, away from the main unit and heat generating appliances.
