Johnson Controls 246-424 2" Valve Flg Gasket (1 Gasket)

The Johnson Controls 246-424 is a single 2-valve flange gasket used for making a tight seal between valves and flanges in HVAC systems. This ring shaped part which is mostly manufactured from rubber is fitted between the two flat faces of the valve and flange with a view of plugging the gap and thus prevent the leakage of air or fluid through the screwing of the nut. Due to the tight fit, the gasket prevents loss of pressure in your HVAC system and possible problems with its functioning. This is a factor which is applied in valves, pumps as well as piping connections of HVAC equipment.
