The Johnson Controls VG7481ST is a 2-way, normally closed globe valve body for hydronic and HVAC systems. It has a sweat (solder) union connection for convenience and a brass build for longevity. It has a CV rating of 462 and that means it can accommodate a variety of flow rates. The VG7481ST is a type of normally closed valve whereby the valve closes whenever electricity is not flowing through cog in the solenoid coil. When a signal is applied, a spring-loaded mechanism opens up to allow flow through the valve.
