Carrier P282-0323 2-Pole Contactor 30A 208/240V

The Carrier P282-0323 is a 2-pole contactor that is an electromagnetic switch that is intended to switch larger currents than the usual toggle switch. It usse an electromagnet to regulate the contacts’ physical contacts, where it opens or closes them. When de-energized the plunger gets out and the contacts also get opened and hence break the current. This contactor is specifically ideal for HVAC equipment such as heating and cooling equipment, refrigeration equipment, and water pump equipment. It can be switched on and off for several times without developing a problem. The contractor has a voltage rating of 208/240 volts AC, a current rating of 30A and can work with a frequency of 50/60Hz.
