Carrier HN52PC022 2-Pole Contactor 30A 24V

The Carrier HN52PC022 is a Double Pole Contactor used for Carrier HVAC applications mainly air conditioners, heat pumps, and packaged units. This contactor is designed such that it has a coil that is powered by a low voltage of 24 volts of alternating current and operates as a switch. When energized the coil produces a magnetic field that pulls two switches within the contactor into operation. This enables a high current of 30 A to pass through both sets of contacts at the same time and control two different components of an HVAC such as a compressor and a blower motor.
