Lochinvar and A. O. Smith 100172017 3/4” LP Gas Valve 10” WC 24V is one of the important accessories of LP gas (liquid propane) heating system. It regulates the supply of LP gas to the burner to give the best performance and safety. This valve is designed for use in systems that demand the 3/4” intake connection and the maximum working pressure of 10 inches WC The valve is equipped with the solenoid actuator that opens and closes due to the impulses from the thermostat or other controlling devices. When the system requires heat, the valve gets a 24V signal which opens the solenoid and thus allow LP gas to reach the burner.
