Trane COM11210 Scroll Compressor 230V 3-Phase R22 POE

The Trane COM11210 Scroll Compressor is out of production but was a robust compressor designed to deliver optimal cooling for medium commercial structures. This used R-22 refrigerant, which has increasing environmental concerns. Unlike the normal piston compressor, this Trane type employed a scroll system to guarantee efficient operation. In the closed compartment, two intertwined coils function as a rapid-flowing pump, compressing refrigerant gas. This design provided a 3.5-ton capacity (about 42,000 BTUH) which is ideal for moderate cooling loads in commercial facilities. The Trane COM11210 Scroll Compressor was used in air conditioning systems that operate with the R-22 refrigerant gas.
