Johnson Controls V46BT-4 Maratime Water Regulator Valve 2 1/2" 160/260 PSI

The Johnson Controls V46BT-4 is a 2-1/2" MW pressure-reducing marine HVAC valve that controls pressure of water in marine AC systems. This direct-acting valve is of the spring and diaphragm type of action. When the water pressure enters the valve, it compresses the flexible diaphragm, and when the pressure reaches the design value the valve opens to relieve excess pressure. This helps to maintain constant water pressure of between 160 and 260 PSI. Forged naval bronze for the cast along with monel in its internal parts are offering fairly rusty protection from water. It is described as a strategy in controlling water pressure and thus controlling influence like damages to crucial HVAC equipment.
